For students

Train for the work AI cannot take.

College gives you the fundamentals. AI now does the routine work you would have practised them on. Our programme trains the part that is left to you: designing systems, understanding the business, judging what is right and owning the result.

What you learn

Four capabilities that make an engineer worth hiring in the AI era.

AI tools are part of the work every day here, the way they are on modern engineering teams. These four are what you bring that the tools do not.

01

System modelling

Design the system before anyone, human or AI, writes it.

  • Data modelling: entities, relationships and constraints
  • System architecture: components, boundaries and dependencies
  • Interaction design: who calls what, in which order
  • Process and user flows: every path, including the failures
02

Domain understanding

Know the business the software exists to serve.

  • How the business earns, spends and loses money
  • The rules, regulations and edge cases of the domain
  • Turning a vague business need into precise requirements
  • Speaking the language of the people who use the system
03

Engineering judgement

Decide what is right, including when AI says otherwise.

  • Weighing trade-offs: cost, speed, risk and maintainability
  • Reviewing AI-generated work and catching what is plausible but wrong
  • Knowing what to build, what to buy and what to leave out
  • Reasoning from fundamentals when there is no answer to look up
04

Ownership

Carry the work from problem to production and stay accountable for it.

  • Taking a problem end to end without being chased
  • Communicating clearly with teammates, reviewers and clients
  • Delivering under deadlines and real constraints
  • Standing behind what you ship, and fixing it when it breaks

How we train

Build first. Get questioned. Learn why.

Most courses teach theory and hope you apply it later. We reverse the order. The project comes first, and the theory follows because you need it to pass the next review.

  1. 01

    Build in teams

You join a team and build an actual system end to end. Deadlines, shared code and trade-offs included.

  2. 02

    Defend it in review

Reviewers question your decisions. Why this design? What breaks at scale? The gaps in your understanding show up fast.

  3. 03

    Go back to the theory

Now the fundamentals have a reason. You return to them to answer the questions you could not, and they stick.

  4. 04

    Ship and level up

You clear the review, ship, and move to a harder build. Each round adds pressure, scope and responsibility.

Tracks

Four tracks. One shared standard.

You choose a primary track based on your strengths. All tracks work together on shared projects and face the same reviews.

AI Research and Engineering

How AI systems are built, evaluated and deployed, so you can work on them as well as with them.

  • Machine learning fundamentals
  • Model evaluation and safety
  • Applied AI engineering

AI-Augmented Product Development

Design and ship products that use AI where it adds real value, from prototype to production.

  • Product thinking with AI
  • Prototyping and user research
  • Full-stack development

AI Strategy and Policy

The economic, social and regulatory side of AI, and how organisations should adapt to it.

  • AI policy and governance
  • Economic impact analysis
  • Strategic writing

Content and Curriculum Design

Turn complex AI research into learning material that other students can actually use.

  • Instructional design
  • Technical writing
  • Content production

What you leave with

Proof, not a participation certificate.

A portfolio of real work

Shipped systems, design documents and review records. Proof of what you can do, not a certificate of attendance.

Published research

Contributors to our research briefs are credited as authors, which counts for higher studies and for hiring.

A route into work

Companies hire from Techvisk. Your sprint history is your interview.

Programme details

The Techvisk Programme

We are starting small on purpose. Reviews by practitioners take time, so we take a limited number of students and select them carefully.

Who it is for
Engineering students from second year onwards, and recent graduates
Duration
24 weeks, part-time alongside college
Format
Hybrid. In-person build days in Chennai, reviews online
Intake
Selective. Small cohorts, admission by assessment

Programme fee

₹1,20,000

plus GST. Payable in instalments.

Apply

How selection works

  1. 01

    Apply

Tell us who you are and what you have built so far.

  2. 02

    Assessment

A short take-home problem. We look at how you think, not what you have memorised.

  3. 03

    Conversation

A review-style interview on your solution. The same format you will face in the programme.

  4. 04

    Offer

If it is a fit on both sides, you get a place in the next cohort.

Questions

What students ask us.

Do I need to know AI or machine learning already?

No. You need solid programming fundamentals and the willingness to be questioned on your work. We teach the rest.

Is this a placement course?

No. We do not teach interview tricks. We train the skills companies are short of, and companies hire from Techvisk because of that.

Why is admission selective?

Our reviews are run by practitioners and take real time per team. We keep cohorts small so every student gets that attention.

Can I do this alongside my college schedule?

Yes. The programme is part-time and built around a college timetable. Expect a serious weekly commitment all the same.

Which branch do I need to be from?

Any. Most students come from computer science and related branches, but what we assess is how you think and build.

Apply

Apply for the next cohort.

Tell us about yourself and what you have built. We will send you the assessment and the cohort dates.
